The outcome

Your data, moved across safely

The scary part of changing systems isn't the new software — it's the fear of losing years of records or grinding the business to a halt during the switch.

Our migration process removes that risk. We extract, clean and map your data, load it into one connected system, and prove every record against the source with a validation report. A parallel run lets both systems operate side by side until you're confident, so cutover is a planned event rather than a leap of faith. Most single-source migrations complete in two to six weeks.

Sources

Where we migrate from

If your records live somewhere today, we can move them into one connected system.

Excel & spreadsheets

Customers, stock, quotes — whatever your business has been running on in sheets.

QuickBooks

Invoices, customers and your chart of accounts, mapped cleanly across.

Sage

Accounts, contacts and transaction history brought out of Sage into one connected system.

Shopify

Products, customers and orders into an online store you run — free of Shopify's monthly platform fees.

WooCommerce & WordPress

Your store, products and orders moved off WordPress and into one system.

Wix & site builders

We move what these platforms let you export — products, customers and contacts.

SAP & Microsoft Dynamics

Exports from larger ERP installations, mapped to the right records.

Legacy & on-premise ERP

Old or unsupported systems no one wants to touch — we get your data out.

CSV & custom databases

Any system that can export a CSV, plus bespoke in-house databases, mapped field by field.

What you get

A fixed-scope migration, delivered with evidence at every step

Migrated data

Customers, products, open invoices and history extracted, cleaned, mapped and loaded into one connected system.

Validation report

Record counts and key figures reconciled against the source so you can see nothing was dropped.

Parallel-run support

Old and new systems run side by side until the numbers match and your team trusts the system.

Cutover plan

A clear, scheduled switch-over with rollback options, so go-live happens on your terms.

Zero-loss approach

Nothing is deleted at source until the migration is signed off and your data is fully verified.

Typical 2–6 weeks

Per source system, depending on data volume and how clean the records are to begin with.

The process

How a migration runs

We follow the same path every time so there are no surprises: extract from your current system, clean and map the fields, load into a test database, validate against the source, then parallel-run before a planned cutover.

Migration is usually one part of a wider move to a modern ERP. It pairs naturally with our ERP implementation work, and where a new online store or site is involved, our website service rebuilds it on one connected system too.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

No. Every migration ends with a validation report that reconciles record counts and key totals against your original source. Your old system stays intact and nothing is deleted until you have signed off that the data in the system is complete and correct.

Very little. Because we work in a separate database and run the old and new systems in parallel, you keep trading throughout. The only brief pause is the planned cutover, which we schedule for a quiet period and back with a rollback option.

Excel and other spreadsheets, accounting tools such as Sage and QuickBooks, online stores like Shopify and WooCommerce, site builders such as Wix, larger legacy ERPs including SAP and Microsoft Dynamics, CSV exports and custom databases. If your data can be exported, we can map and migrate it into one connected system.

Typically two to six weeks per source system. The timeline depends on the volume of data and how clean it is to begin with. We confirm a fixed scope after reviewing a sample export, so you know what to expect before we start.

It is a period where your existing system and the new system operate at the same time on the same transactions. It lets you compare results day to day and build confidence that the system is accurate before you commit to the cutover and retire the old system.
